Do I need to bring my own Mac?
No, Splice provides all the necessary hardware and software you will need for this course.
How do I complete the certification?
There is an exam and the successful completion of grants you Apple Certified Support Professional certification. The exam is optional and costs $100 with the course, or $200 without the course or for re-writes.
When can I write the exam?
You can write the exam after the course if you feel ready. If you've never used a Mac before, a lot of the material may be new so you might want the opportunity to study, then come back and take the test. When you buy the exam with the course you have one year to come in and write it at Splice.
Do I need the course, or can I just write the exam?
Apple certifications are very specific and rely heavily hands-on experience and in depth knowledge of the subject matter. It's highly recommended that you attend our course to prepare yourself for certification.
What textbook do I need? Is it included?
This course uses a bundle of two printed books: A Reference Guide and a Workbook. The bundle of books is only available from the publisher (Pearson Education) for purchase by Apple Authorized Training Centres, which is why we include the purchase price in the course fee. You will not be billed for the books.
