Executive Class Seating

Spread out at our spacious student work areas. Our seats may not recline into a flatbed, but they are flat-out wonderful. There's plenty of space for your books, notes, and your beverage from Splice's complimentary bar service, featuring lattes, cappuccinos, beers of the world and wine.

All Courses: Just $260/day

Reasonable. All of our courses are $260/day*, and that gets you a one-year all-access pass to the course. Take it as many times as you like at any of our locations across Canada.

(*OK: You caught us. Our Mac101, iLife101, Sound, and iWork101 courses are only $100/day.)

Guaranteed To Run

Book your flight, because once we mark a course as Guaranteed To Run, there'll be no cancellations. Watch for the green Splice Guaranteed To Run stamp and checkmark on our course schedule.

Amazingly Wicked Locations

Take one step from the training centre and be in the bustling activity of a lively metropolis in the heart of the city. Unwind at one of hundreds of pubs and restaurants, all within a stone's throw, then stroll along the waterfront or perhaps take in a sports game, concert or live theatre.

What's Covered

We learn how to provide professional end-user support for OS X Lion.

Do I need to bring my own Mac?

No, Splice provides all the necessary hardware and software you will need for this course.

How do I complete the certification?

There is an exam and the successful completion of grants you Apple Certified Support Professional certification. The exam is optional and costs $100 with the course, or $200 without the course or for re-writes.

When can I write the exam?

You can write the exam after the course if you feel ready. If you've never used a Mac before, a lot of the material may be new so you might want the opportunity to study, then come back and take the test. When you buy the exam with the course you have one year to come in and write it at Splice.

Do I need the course, or can I just write the exam?

Apple certifications are very specific and rely heavily hands-on experience and in depth knowledge of the subject matter. It's highly recommended that you attend our course to prepare yourself for certification.

What textbook do I need? Is it included?

This course uses a bundle of two printed books: A Reference Guide and a Workbook. The bundle of books is only available from the publisher (Pearson Education) for purchase by Apple Authorized Training Centres, which is why we include the purchase price in the course fee. You will not be billed for the books.
