Splice announces regularly scheduled “XSAN301: XSAN 2 Administration” training, a three-day certification course on Apple’s Storage Area Network solution. XSAN301 will run at minimum every quarter at Splice’s Downtown Toronto training centre.
XSAN301 courses take advantage of Splice’s standard pricing of $220/day, which allows students not only revolutionary pricing for premium training, but also includes unlimited access to the course for one year.
XSAN 2 Administration is also one component of Apple’s larger Apple Certified Media Administrator (ACMA) certification, intended for individuals supporting Xsan solutions for video in their enterprise.
Splice makes the Apple Certified Media Administrator certification accessible by scheduling all of the required courses into a three-week ‘ACMA Bootcamp’ at Splice’s Downtown Toronto training facility. The scheduled ACMA Bootcamp courses also includes Final Cut Server 201, Snow Leopard Server 201 and Final Cut Pro 101.
Splice revolutionized the training experience by tossing out chairs to make more room for students, offering complimentary bar and cafe service, situating its training centres in the heart of the urban environment, allowing students to re-take the same course at no extra charge for a year, by introducing flat-rate pricing and by creating a “Guaranteed to Run” program. The “Guaranteed to Run” program tackles the negative trend in the Training Industry of cancelling courses unless a minimum number of students have registered.
The first ACMA Bootcamp begins on June 1st, 2010. Registration is open now.
